Hollander obtains a spot at Vismarkt, opposite the current sales wagon and in 1934: Official registration with the Chamber of Commerce. In 1940: Relocation and Wartime Challenges
and he moves to Folkingestraat 28. Hollander IJS continues using traditional ice cream making methods through WWII.

Hollander IJs continues to delight Groningen residents and visitors with its rich history and commitment to quality ice cream. From horse-drawn carts to modern vending locations, Hollander has been a sweet part of Groningen's culinary landscape for over a century.
With various stands in the city center, Hollander IJs quickly became a local institution. Even today, Hollander IJs maintains a strong presence in the city with three permanent stands.
A wellknown locaties is the entrance at Stadspark. Personally we love the colored slush ice or the soft ice with tiny nuts on them.
