Rhythm of Time: Local DJs will play a mix of contemporary hits and timeless classics, setting the perfect atmosphere for the evening. Music forms the backbone of the event, with the rhythm flowing through the Grote Markt. The Time Machine

Alter à Go presents a show symbolizing the transition from old to new. In a glass container, a performance unfolds that evolves every hour. The "sexy carwash" theme represents washing away the old and revealing new possibilities for 2025. Let the "time machine" inspire you, daring you to embrace change – letting go of old habits and making space for new beginnings.

Spirits of Time

The robot choir CH01R by Paul&Albert pays tribute to the spirit of the times. Singing, glowing robots take you on a futuristic journey where AI-generated music and light choreography merge into a breathtaking audiovisual spectacle. Each moment is unique and amplifies the magical atmosphere of the countdown show.

The Time Wheel

Soar high in the Ferris wheel above the Grote Markt and enjoy an intimate audio tour with Lars Meijer. In The Last Round, Lars summarizes the most remarkable moments of 2024. His personal story transforms the Ferris wheel into a poetic time capsule where past and future meet.

Glow of Time

This giant interactive light circle serves as the heart of the event, located among the trees on the Grote Markt. Sync up with the specially composed soundtrack by Groningen DJ & Producer Benwal and feel how light and sound merge into a dancing artwork. The light installation responds to the beats, creating an immersive experience that builds towards midnight.
