Maria Mena, the Norwegian pop singer, has been invited by Amsterdam Sinfonietta for their annual and highly successful New Year’s tour Breder dan Klassiek (Broader than Classical).

Founded in 1988, Amsterdam Sinfonietta has grown into a dynamic and virtuosic string orchestra that performs worldwide. After successful collaborations with artists such as Karsu and The Tallest Man On Earth, it is now Maria Mena’s turn.

From a young age, Maria has shared her emotional and personal music with the world. She began her career in 2002 with the album Another Phase, and two years later, she achieved international success with her hit You’re The Only One. Mena is known for her powerful voice and her ability to convey deep emotion through poetic lyrics. In her intimate performances, she blends pop, jazz, and soul with a heartfelt intensity that resonates with audiences. Together with Amsterdam Sinfonietta, she will present a program that adds an extra layer of depth to her music.
