InScience Film Festival On Tour in Groningen

What if witches are not supernatural beings, but rather a product of a patriarchal worldview where mental illnesses were not understood? Did you know there is money being made from students in Africa writing academic essays for others? And what do a glowing screen, thousands of insects, and the loving gaze of scientists have in common? During the InScience Film Festival, we dive into these questions with three documentaries and engage in discussions about what we’ve seen.

InScience International Science Film Festival Nijmegen is one of the largest science film festivals in Europe. The program features the best science films of the year. The festival also tours across the Netherlands with highlights from the most recent edition. This year, Groningen hosts a full InScience On Tour program with three top films: The Shadow Scholars, Nocturnes, and Witches.
