On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the annual 'Naar de Bollen' (To the Bulbs) event returns to the Hogeland region in Groningen. Organized by Rotary Club Het Hogeland, this colorful day offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the vast, blooming tulip fields around Uithuizermeeden.

You can choose to participate in various ways: hiking (10, 20, 30, or 40 km), a scenic cycling tour of approximately 35 km, or a 65 km tour for cars and motorcycles. All routes start at Kruize Bloembollen and take you past the most beautiful flower fields, wide horizons, and charming local villages. By participating, you are also supporting various charitable causes in the region.
