Three-time Olivier Award-winner Sharon D Clarke and Ncuti Gatwa (Doctor Who, Sex Education) play the lead roles in this upbeat reworking of Oscar Wilde's comedy The Importance of Being Earnest . While assuming the role of a dutiful guardian in the countryside, Jack goes wild in the city under a false identity. Meanwhile, his friend Algy adopts a similar facade. Hoping to impress two desirable ladies, the gentlemen become entangled in a web of lies through which they must carefully navigate.
