What's going on with Silophone Session no. 10? Well, King's Day (April 26th) is coming up, and that's why we're organizing a multidisciplinary improvisation jam with an orange twist! We don't expect you to celebrate King's Day in the traditional way, but since this is the 10th edition, we'd like to do something a little different.
Do you want to join in as a dancer, musician, or spoken word artist? You're more than welcome! Feel free to wear something orange if you'd like, but it's not required. If you're not planning on just getting drunk at a market somewhere in the city, this edition of the Silophone Session at Y2 Poelestraat 16-18 in Groningen might be the place for you!
We'll kick things off at 3:30 PM with an amazing opening act! Be sure to show some love for our opening act too! Who is it? We'll reveal that soon!
What are the Silophone Sessions?
The Silophone Sessions are multidisciplinary improvisation jam sessions for musicians, dancers, and spoken word artists, organized by violinist Renske van Donk and improv cellist Charles Belfor.
Our goal is to bring performers from various styles, perspectives, and influences together in an artistic playground and encourage them to interact with each other, creating something entirely unique on stage.
