Trompsingel 27, 9724 DA GroningenSince their debut in the early ’90s, The Brand New Heavies have been a staple in the acid jazz scene. With hits like Dream On Dreamer, Sometimes, and You Are The Universe, they built a strong live reputation. In 2023, the compilation album Never Stop… The Best Of was released, followed by a successful tour with the London Concert Orchestra. Recently, the band played a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall, and now they bring their unique blend of soul, jazz, and funk to De Oosterpoort.
