Natalia and Ginel leave their home in Romania to work as seasonal workers in Belgium. They set out in search of a better life, but problems mount. Disillusioned, they decide to take matters into their own hands. Together with some old childhood friends, they plan a major art theft that will change their lives forever.
Director Teodora Ana Mihai (La Civil) was inspired by the true story of the infamous painting theft at the Rotterdam Kunsthal in 2012. The screenplay was written by acclaimed filmmaker Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days).
