Trompsingel 27, 9724 DA GroningenDaryll-Ann is a Dutch alternative rock band. The band broke through in the mid-1990s and achieved success both at home and abroad. One of their best-known albums, Daryll-Ann Weeps, has now turned 30 years old—and that calls for a celebration.
The album was recorded in 1996 in Weesp and is one of those records for which the term “cult classic” was invented. It’s an album that contains everything: anger, sorrow, beauty, comfort… the classic elements of true art, distilled into sixteen songs. All the more reason to perform this masterpiece in its entirety for the first time, thirty years after its creation—featuring the original lineup under the best possible circumstances… it doesn’t get any better than this.
