DIY Weekend at Wongema

Over the weekend of 24, 25 and 26 October, Wongema turns into a hub for all things DIY. We kick off on Friday evening with a monthly Wadden-themed dinner by chefs Inès Buter and Liz de Vries. You can sign up until 16:00 on the day itself—pull up a chair, taste the season, and ease into the weekend in good company.

On Saturday we start with a morning workshop (more info soon), then gather for a pea-soup lunch by Menko Oosterhuis. In the afternoon we dive deeper into the maker’s world with a talk by the Schoonzusjes and a screening of Menko voedt de stad with filmmaker Tom Tieman present. We round off the day with a convivial village dinner at long tables—sharing food, stories and plans for what you’ll make next.
