Completely against his family's expectations, sixteen-year-old Enzo doesn't start university, but rather trains to become a bricklayer. He's a failure, but feels more at home on the construction site than in the posh villa where he grew up. When his charismatic colleague Vlad takes him into this other world, this existence seems far more valuable to Enzo than that of his wealthy family.
This causes tensions at home to rise. Enzo feels increasingly pressured to live up to his parents' expectations. Enzo was the opening film of the Filmmakers' Quinzaine at the Cannes Film Festival.
