Oyster Tour at Waddengenot aan Zee, Lauwersoog

Gather at Waddengenot aan Zee, our unique restaurant atop Zeedijk 1 in Lauwersoog. Wear sporty clothing with rain boots or sturdy shoes with grip. Extra: bring a garbage bag and comfortable shoes for after the tour.

You will be welcomed with coffee or tea and treats and introduced to the guide. The tour starts with an oyster quiz, then we walk—equipped with oyster knives, tea towels, screwdrivers, and buckets—toward the oyster area. Here, you can see, experience, and taste the oysters. After the guide’s explanation, we walk back to the restaurant to enjoy our salty catch.
