Welcome to the enchanting world of Latin music and dance, where the passion of rhythms and the sultry movements of salsa, merengue, and bachata come together for an unforgettable evening, inspired by the legendary documentary ‘Our Latin Thing’ from 1972.

 

Our Latin Thing brings the essence of Latin America to Groningen with an eclectic mix of styles. From the traditional sounds of Cuban Son to the uplifting beats of modern Salsa and the explosive energy of Cuban Timba, this night will be a party you won’t be able to stand still.

The men of Tromboranga, the embodiment of Salsa Dura, will make the stage vibrate with their rousing trombones and powerful percussion. The Groningen Cuban Son Band Ache Cubano, brings their unique fusion of traditional Son and modern influences to the stage. Between performances, DJ Caramelo and El Gran DJ Juanz will provide you with the tastiest Latin hits. Guaranteed explosive energy that will make you want to dance. The feet will be off the floor anyway, as there will be a dance demo or a salsa workshop in between the bands!
