Sandro Cleuzo (1960) is a top animator who has experienced all the major developments in the animation industry up close. He tells you everything you always wanted to know about working in the animation film world!

In his native Brazil, he started out as an animator for TV commercials at the age of 15. He then worked his way into Don Bluth Studios in Ireland and Disney Studios in Los Angeles. Cleuzo briefly had his own studio in Sao Paulo, but now works as a freelancer for producers such as Dreamworks, Sony, Laika, Paramount and Netflix.

Sandro is a 2D animator, but his talent is also regularly called upon for 3D projects such as Ultraman: Rising (2024). He has also worked on films such as Kung Fu Panda 4, Nimona, Angry Birds, Missing Link, The Emperors New Groove, Fantasia 2000 and Anastasia. In addition to being an animator, he works as a character designer, storyboard artist and layout artist.
