VISION returns to their home-base Simplon to present you with something new.

The latest musical export from Groningen, Ring Noord, is the new project conceived by former Noisia member Nik Roos (Sleepnet) and producer/visual artist Jasper Scholma (Former). Blending rave euphoria with raw club energy and experimental sound design they emerged with a bold debut: ‘Wild Flowers’.

Rooted in a shared audiovisual magnetism since 2017, as seen in past collaborations between Noisia, Sleepnet, and Former, Ring Noord thrives on deconstructing and reconstructing club music’s core elements. Their sound fuses Drum & Bass, Techno, Hardcore, UK Garage, IDM, and Emo into something stripped back, immediate, and built to move you.

To mark their arrival, Ring Noord recently premiered an exclusive AV set on the VISION YouTube channel, featuring 29 unreleased tracks. With an incredibly strong response from fans and industry alike, the set serves as Version 1 of their ongoing experiment – where tracks take shape, shift, and may be entirely reimagined in future iterations. It also offers the first showcase of their genre-fluid approach – built to adapt and evolve.

Ring Noord marks the start of an exciting new chapter for both artists – a statement of intent and a declaration of their love for electronic music’s past, present, and future. Fans of Noisia, Sleepnet, and Former will find something familiar, yet thrillingly new in their approach.
