This Italian film is based on true events and the main characters play themselves. It results in an emotional docudrama with a raw intensity that feels authentic and true.

Jasmine (Marilena Amato) seems to have a perfect life. She has a nice family with her caring husband Rino (Gennaro Scarica) and their three sons, and runs a successful hair salon near Naples. But after the death of her father, she keeps having the same dream in which a young girl runs to her. Jasmine decides to follow her wish to add a daughter to their family. International adoption should provide a solution, but her doggedness puts her family under pressure. When Jasmine seems to lose her moral compass, the family comes together to go through this process together with her.

The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival in the Orizzonto Extra program.
