Kite Festival & Late Summer Market Meerstad 2025

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 11:00 to 18:00, Park Meerstad will once again host the colorful Kite Festival and Late Summer Market. The park will be filled with kites of all shapes and sizes: from animal designs to abstract creations. If the wind is strong, kite buggies will race across the fields, and children can join a kite-making workshop.

Visitors can also try a diabolo workshop, fly their own kite on the beach, or relax on the grass while enjoying the spectacular view of the sky. A special kite shop will be available on the plaza.

At the food truck square, enjoy delicious snacks and drinks, while the summer market at the Zijlkade offers regional products and a variety of stalls. A festive day full of fun, creativity, and entertainment for all ages!
