Reggae Grammy winners Zion Train are coming to EM2 Groningen on March 15! As one of the most unique live dub acts in the world, their dynamic dub-mixing combined with acoustic instruments and exceptional vocalists creates a one-of-a-kind musical experience.

The British collective Zion Train has been one of the biggest names in the dub and reggae scene for over 35 years. Since 1990, the group has released numerous records with their signature reggae groove and DIY attitude. Their Universal Egg label is renowned for high-quality releases in dub, electronic, and dance music. Their album Live as One, released in September 2007, earned them a Grammy Award in 2008. In addition, the band owns and operates their own sound system, the legendary Abassi Sound System.

An Unparalleled Legacy

Zion Train has performed over 3,000 shows worldwide at prestigious festivals such as Fusion Festival (Germany), Sziget (Hungary), Rainbow Serpent (Australia), Woodstock (Poland), and Solipse (Zambia). They have graced the Glastonbury Festival stage an incredible fifteen times, cementing their reputation as a powerhouse in live dub performance.

Despite their long career, Zion Train remains one of the most exciting live reggae dub acts globally, maintaining their fresh and current sound. With a new LP set for release on March 21, 2025, fans attending the EM2 show may even get a sneak peek of what's to come!
