Her music is described as New Weird America, folk, and ‘campfire gospel,’ with a focus on creating very calm and subdued songs. The American has been a full-time musician for over 15 years and has done extensive tours in Europe and North America during that time.
At the age of nineteen, she independently released her debut album, Forest Parade. Even then, Diane’s significant talent was evident, but it was with the successor, The Pirate’s Gospel, released in 2006, that her name became well-known. In 2022, she released her sixth album, titled Looking Glass, which she is currently taking on tour.
