Bassface is back for their latest edition of 2024. And how. They regularly get asked how they manage to bring such great artists to Simplon and still keep the ticket price at the fixed 14 euros. How they always manage to do it, they don’t really know themselves. What they do know is that for this edition, they really went above and beyond.

Top of the line-up for November is Skeptical, one of the most influential producers and DJs the deep drum&bass scene has ever heard. Legendary tracks like Imperial and Marka (with Dub Phizix), in addition to, for example, the Without A Trace EP with Alix Perez, have been in our record collection and on our USBs for over 10 years. If all this means nothing to you, be prepared to witness a slice of the drum&bass scene’s legend at Simplon.

Around the same time and in that same collection of records from Dispatch Recordings are EPs by GEST, then known as Gerra & Stone. Their deep, dark bangers shaped the music that Bassface is all about, so we are incredibly hyped that they are finally coming to Bassface. GEST’s development brings them influences from their current hometown of Berlin alongside deep basslines, with fast techno-style arps, percussion and stabs.

That you don’t necessarily have to come from London or Berlin for good drum&bass, is proven by the local talent we can put on the line-up for this edition. Emerging producer Seven-Headed combines forces with Bassface resident Yannons and Groningen label SubCulture brings a showcase with three local DJs to show what goes on in the underground of our beautiful city.
