When Cashmyra was less than three years old, her mother died by suicide—a loss that inevitably shaped her life and her perspective on death. On ‘sterven doe je toch wel’ (October 2025, Zeevonk Records), Cashmyra explores themes of mourning, impermanence, and the will to live. Together with producer Harmen Ridderbos, the alternative rock duo crafts an explosive mix of noise and whispering intensity.
