Finnish singer and dancer Joalin grew up in a small town in Mexico surrounded by the sound of Latin rhythms. Herein lie the origins of her uniquely melancholic Scandi-pop with a reggaeton underbelly. While effortlessly flipping between Spanish and English, Joalin switches between emotional gears and disparate sounds. The video for ‘I'm The One’ gives a raw, unvarnished glimpse into her life, while soft reggaeton beats underpin crystalline melodies that leave a tear on the dancefloor. Joalin is nominated for the Music Moves Europe Awards 2025.
