Lela Soto is one of the most established and promising young voices in the contemporary flamenco scene. Although born in Madrid, her singing is deeply rooted in the Jerez de la Frontera tradition. Lela channels her family roots – going back all the way to her grandfather Sordera and her uncle Ray Heredia – with her own musical input, to create a very personal and fresh way of interpreting the cante. El Fuego Que Llevo Dentro (The Fire Inside) is her first album, and it pushes her family heritage into the future.
