The Hague “trapper” Mula B has made an undeniable contribution to the formation of the Dutch hip hop landscape, with his fifth album Narcopop named as Best Dutch Hip-hop Album of 2023. While he was already broadening his musical palette on its predecessor PRIX D’AMI, Mula B has further developed his style with Narcopop, where trap, hip hop, rock and even jazz are fused with pop and poetic lyrics, just to make it crystal clear that street life, and his life experiences, are also art.
