Dutch for foreigners (level I - beginners) A0 to A1

This course is intended for foreigners who wish to acquire a working knowledge of Dutch. Much attention is paid to building up a good grammatical framework. Also you take the first steps in the field of speaking and listening. 

Extra information
Duration of the course is 24 classes of 90 minutes each. A large degree of independent study of grammar and vocabulary is expected. Supervision only takes place during lessons. In order to ensure reasonable progress, members of this course are expected to reserve at least three hours a week for homework. At the end of the course a certificate of participation is available for students who were present at nineteen or more lessons. Your teacher in the early afternoonclass will be Anneke Brandsen. The teacher in the late afternoonclass will be Petra Agricola.  

Coursematerial
The books to be used during the course: De opmaat (newest edition, published summer 2021), uitgeverij Boom (ISBN: 9789024431991). Available at: Van der Velde bookstore at the Grote Markt or online: www.nt2.nl. The books are not included in the course fee.

Hours
There are classes twice a week, on mondays and wednesdays. Hours: 11.00 am - 12.30 pm (early afternoon group) or 3.30 pm - 5.00 pm (late afternoon group). You can chose which group suits you best. The first class is on Monday, September 8th.
