In Japanese animation – Anime – music is not a secondary element but carries the story. It makes you empathise with characters and strengthens every moment of tension, emotion or wonder. In this concert you hear iconic pieces and hidden gems.
From the dreamy music from among others Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro, to the powerful, dramatic soundtracks of Demon Slayer and The Fullmetal Alchemist. Performed by a full orchestra, the North Netherlands Concert Choir and soprano Bobbie Blommesteijn. A fully packed stage with rich music that tells stories, even if you have never seen them.
