Pixel Perceptions in Akerk & Noorderlicht

Pixel Perceptions explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on our daily lives and the creative industry. As algorithms increasingly become part of our routines, questions arise regarding the reliability of images and the relationship between humans and machines. This exhibition, presented by Noorderlicht this fall at the Akerk, investigates how AI influences the creative sector, its implications for creators, and the ethical dilemmas it poses.

The exhibition encourages visitors to reflect on AI's role in their lives and consider whether it can be harnessed for a more inclusive society. Critical thinking and exploring possibilities are central themes.

Pixel Perceptions will be presented in two parts, with the main exhibition opening on October 29 at the Akerk. Additionally, emerging talent will contribute to the theme at Noorderlicht Studio.
