Pumpkin Picking Days Oostwold 2025

Put on your boots and come pick your own pumpkins in the Oldambt clay. 

Who wouldn’t want to experience that?! Fun for young and old alike!

Once again, there are pumpkins — fully organic and full of flavor. This year we have a variety of different pumpkins. During the picking days, you can select and harvest your own beautiful pumpkins in Oostwold.

After picking, you are warmly invited to visit the market with more than 40 vendors offering regional products, handicrafts, home accessories, coffee, tea, and delicious treats.

Children can enjoy creative activities for a small fee, such as decorate your pumpkin or make an autumn painting. There are also fun games on the field — plenty of entertainment for the whole family!

You can come by car, bicycle, or on foot. Free parking is available in designated areas. From there, follow the paths leading you to the pumpkin field and the market.

Upon arrival, you will receive instructions on how to best pick a pumpkin. Bring pruning shears and a sturdy bag. Planning to pick a lot of pumpkins? No problem — wheelbarrows are available. Entry to both the field and the market is free, and they can also be visited separately.
