Psychedelic new-age drone magic

TENGGER is the travelling musical family, made up of Pan-Asian couple ITTA, MARQIDO and their son RAAI. They created their brand of psychedelic, new-age drone magic through the use of vocals, Indian harmonium, toy instruments and synths.

The group used to perform as a duo with the name ‘10‘. After the birth of RAAI in 2012 the couple decided to change their name to TENGGER to mark the expansion of the family. Travel, as spiritual experience in real environments, and the sound between the space and the audience have been central themes in their works. The family’s yearly pilgrimages inspire every aspect of their art.
