Amsterdam based Yan Lâle originated as a school project in the first year of the Conservatory, but since then the five-piece group has grown into so much more than that. Their first singles have already shown how versatile their repertoire can be. Alongside their songs , the band's compelling performances are characterized as limitless, unfathomable, dark and idiosyncratic. Combined with the mysterious lyrics and melodies of singer Tuğçe Kartal, Yan Lâle is already leaving its mark.
