With her special blend of jazz, folk and ancient Mongolian music, Enji is gathering fans including the likes of BBC 6 music’s Gilles Peterson, and COLORS who invited her for a session in Berlin. MOJO described the Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia-born artist as “Ella Fitzgerald singing in Khalkha”, and she grew up in a yurt, part of a working-class family. Now based in Munich, she shares these experiences and her passion for music, dance and literature with a band made up of members from all over the world.
