Despite being told many times, it’s still a beautiful story: In the 1990s, the Brit Fin Greenall made a name for himself as a dance producer but decided to leave techno behind in the mid-2000s and make a drastic career switch. Together with Tim Thornton (drums/guitar) and Guy Whittaker (bass), Fink was formed—a more traditional project for Greenall that highlights his talent as a singer-songwriter. This, too, proved to be a wise choice, considering his impressive track record since then. Thanks to his hypnotic, mesmerizing voice, driven guitar playing, and subtle, beautiful bluesy folk music, he has captivated audiences at nearly all major festivals and continues to fill venues across the Netherlands.

Many acclaimed albums are now to his credit, and his latest release, Beauty In Your Wake (2024), is an excellent reason to hit the road once more. A tour that, in his own words, “will probably never end,” a fitting remark given his love for being on stage. On March 20th, we will warmly welcome Fink to De Oosterpoort.
