Helen Jewett emerged from an improvised school workshop, where a bucket of name cards marked the starting point of what would become a band. After a handful of rehearsals and long conversations about the complexity of existence, ambition began to take shape. Sharing a love for Joy Division, Radiohead and My Bloody Valentine, the band developed a sound rooted in post-punk and shoegaze, enriched with elements of folk, electronica, hardcore and ambient. Their poetic lyrics reflect on existentialism, nostalgia and the turbulence of modern life, drawing listeners into a cold and introspective sonic landscape.
