What is Stadspark parkrun, Groningen?

Every Saturday at 9AM you can participate in Stadspark Parkrun, this is a Free Run, organised by volunteers! Free, fun, and friendly. A weekly 5km run, organized for and by the local community. Everyone is welcome to participate, whether you walk, jog, run, volunteer, or simply cheer on the runners from the sidelines.

How do you participate in Stadspark Parkrun?

All you need to do is register before your first event. This only needs to be done once. Don’t forget to bring your scannable barcode (set a reminder). Forgot your barcode? Unfortunately, you will not receive a time.

Speed is not important, joy is key!

We all participate for our own enjoyment. Just come along and join in, regardless of your speed!

A social run, there will be coffee afterwards

Every week, after the Stadspark Parkrun they go for coffee together: At the finish, we offer free tea and coffee (and biscuits). Join us! How about sharing stories about your run today, chatting with other parkrunners over a cup of tea or coffee, and just being a vital part of this new running community? Join us!
