December is known as the month of legendary top lists featuring the greatest classics of all time, including, of course, the unmissable Top 2000. This annual highlight is a feast that many a music lover eagerly awaits. Classic Hits In Concert is the event that adds an extra dimension to the large-scale ‘feast of recognition’ on various radio stations.

A large band of more than 20 talented musicians provides a full-length show in ever-changing line-ups. The show will take the audience to ultimate sing-alongs, but also to surprising gems from the Top 2000. The theme of the evening is timeless pop, rock and soul classics from the greatest hits of all.

Classic Hits In Concert also performs songs you would not expect to see live. It is a mix of recognition and surprise, always wrapped in a captivating story. Evergreens, one-hit-wonders, iconic guitar solos and hidden gems follow one another in rapid succession. A tribute to the pioneers who have held their own in the list of lists for years, with the ambition to approach the original performances as closely as possible.

The songs played always remain a surprise, which is one of the strengths of the concept. The repertoire can range from ABBA to Led Zeppelin, Prince to Pearl Jam, Fleetwood Mac to Foo Fighters, Bowie to Beatles, or Aretha Franklin to Tina Turner.

Classic Hits In Concert is a colourful show with lots of dynamics, not least because of the seven singers – each with their own (vocal) sound – who alternate. The vocalists are complemented by a seasoned group of top musicians and beautiful visuals that together work towards a grand finale.
