Singer Lucia Meeuwsen, Hebe Dijkstra and Elena Vink were always in the spotlight, but as the years went by, they became quieter. In the musical theater performance Coming of Age, created by singer and theater maker Cora Burggraaf, they celebrate the beauty of their older voices. Do we only hear transience or also life experience, passion and personal stories?

Because these three aging divas can do something they were never asked to do in the past: let their voices be heard without having to put themselves in a straitjacket, with pleasure and self-reflection. With music by Schumann, Mozart, Poulenc, Saint-Saëns, Bizet, Ligeti and Weill, among others, we go in search of their own voice, colored by life. And invite you to do the same: find your own voice.
