During this edition of De Wijk De Wereld, stories from Selwerd take center stage: stories from residents themselves, shared with each other and the rest of the city. Because when people share and envision their stories, space is created for connection, understanding, and living together.

De Wijk De Wereld brings residents and professional creators together. Together, they translate neighborhood stories into a performance full of theater, dance, music, film, and more. Some participants are stepping onto a stage for the first time, while others contribute behind the scenes. This creates a performance that is not just about the neighborhood, but truly emerges from it.

For this edition, creators Sanam Tahmasebi, Ada Daniele & Shara Maaskant, Lies van de Wiel, and Nic Bruckman are working together with residents from Selwerd.
