Roos Rebergen is a Dutch singer, songwriter, and frontwoman of the band Roosbeef. In the winter of 2023, Roos went on tour with Roosbeef to promote their fifth album ‘Summer in the Netherlands.’ However, just before the tour began, it became clear that Tom Pintens, one of the core members, was too ill to join the tour. Roos and her band decided to adjust the arrangements for a smaller ensemble, awaiting Tom’s recovery.

A walk and meaningful conversation with Tom led to a new creative collaboration between Roos and Tim Vandenbergh, the founder of SunSunSun Orchestra. Together, they created an album with new arrangements of songs from the Roosbeef repertoire, focusing on strings and vocal elements.

The collaboration resulted in unique reinterpretations of Roosbeef songs and led to the release of the first single ‘How Your Life Should Be’ on April 25, 2024. Roos Rebergen and SunSunSun Orchestra together bring a fresh and innovative approach to Roosbeef’s music, combining classical elements with modern musical influences.
