The best time to observe and hear birds singing is early in the morning. During this time, we’ll listen to the morning chorus together. Since each bird species has its own unique song, we can identify which birds are currently in the Hortus and likely nesting there. We’ll be on the lookout for species like green woodpeckers, redstarts, pied flycatchers, willow warblers, hawfinches, and many others. If you have binoculars, bring them along to fully enjoy the peaceful early morning atmosphere and the beautiful bird songs. You can register until May 22, 2025.
