𝙂𝙍𝙊𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙀𝙍 𝙋𝙊𝙋𝙈𝙀𝙀𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙂 ‘𝟮𝟱: 𝙎𝘼𝙑𝙀 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙀 🗓️

Before we officially head into the summer break, there's one more thing we’d like to share with you. Namely: the date of the 2025 Groninger Popmeeting!

On Tuesday, November 4, we’ll gather at @graanfabriek050 to talk about the current state of the Groningen pop scene.

This year’s theme is 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 – 𝙋𝙤𝙥 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚, building on the outcomes of last year's edition.

The previous edition highlighted that the pop infrastructure in the province is too limited. Pop culture is mainly concentrated in the city of Groningen — and that needs to change. There's a growing need for initiatives, rehearsal spaces, and meeting places outside the city as well. And both within the city and province, people are calling for creative hubs.

That’s why we’ll need to collaborate even more closely and intensively as the Groningen pop sector. Hence the theme.

The Groninger Popmeeting is meant for anyone working behind the scenes in the Groningen pop field.

In principle, the Popmeeting is by invitation only. Official invitations will be sent out in early September.
