From Wednesday November 19 to Sunday November 23, 2025, the Forum Groningen will once again be dedicated to documentary film during the IDFA festival in Groningen.

Every November, we celebrate five days of vibrant international documentary cinema in all its diversity during the Groningen satellite edition of IDFA. We present a thrilling cross-section of the festival in Amsterdam, including many international and world premieres. Creative documentary filmmaking is always the starting point for IDFA, showcasing films and projects that artistically portray reality and express the unique vision of their makers. The festival also offers a wide variety of genres, creators, and production countries.
