Belgian-Cameroonian singer-songwriter Lubiana takes you on a musical journey through the rich sounds of Africa, Europe, and North America. She is known for her masterful command of the kora, a West African harp, which she combines in innovative ways with genres such as neo-soul and pop. She adds a more melodic approach to the traditional, rhythmic, sharp Kora style. She is inspired by artists such as Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Sade.

At the age of 21, Lubiana performed at open mics in London and Los Angeles, with a mission to make the Kora accessible to a more international audience. In Los Angeles, she was discovered by Om’Mas Keith, the renowned producer who collaborated with Frank Ocean and Kanye West, and introduced her to the neo-soul scene. Her latest album, Terre Rouge, revolves around her connection to her ancestors, her Cameroonian roots, and the search for her own identity.
