In 1780, Mozart made an arrangement for two pianos. The Double Concerto BWV 1061 was written by Bach for the Leipzig Collegium Musicum, a company of students and professional musicians that gave regular concerts at Café Zimmermann, the hotspot of Leipzig at the time.
