Trompsingel 27, 9724 DA GroningenNaaz is a Kurdish producer, singer, and writer from Rotterdam. Her unique blend of English and Kurdish music has earned her recognition from icons such as Elton John and Lana Del Rey. She has performed at festivals such as Lowlands, ESNS, and Oranjepop, and has appeared several times on Wende’s Vrijplaats shows.
She grew up in a refugee family and started writing and composing music at a young age. She wrote her first EP, Bits of Naaz, in her bedroom and became internationally known. Naaz is acclaimed for her music, self-directed visuals, and praised for her openness about autism, diaspora, and authenticity within the music industry. In 2025, she released her self-produced EP Read Me, and in 2026 she will release her second album.
