This workshop explores the various forms of disinformation found on social media. You’ll delve into why it’s created, how it spreads, and its impact. Topics include clickbait, deepfakes, and the essentials of fact-checking. Through hands-on activities, you’ll build skills to identify and debunk false information more effectively.

Participants are asked to bring their own laptops. If that’s not an option, a device will be provided in the Smartlab.
