Seun Kuti is a Nigerian musician, singer, and songwriter, known for his captivating performances and socially conscious music. As the youngest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, he has dedicated most of his life to preserving and expanding his father’s political and musical legacy as the leader of the band Egypt 80. After his father’s passing in 1997, Seun took over the leadership of the band and has since released several albums, including the Grammy-nominated ‘Black Times’ (2018).
