British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor rose to fame in 2002 with the hit "Murder On The Dancefloor," becoming the most played song in Europe of 2002.
Since then, she has expanded her collection, mainly consisting of a mix of 80s disco-pop and contemporary dance grooves. In 2010, she released the song "Not Giving Up on Love" in collaboration with Armin van Buuren.
The pop artist has been active in recent years as well. Following her hit series "Kitchen Disco Parties," which she shared on Instagram during the pandemic, she has released two compilation albums and her first book.
Additionally, she hosts her weekly radio show on BBC2 and is working on the eighth season of her podcast. As if that wasn't enough, she has also published a cookbook with her husband, Richard Jones, the bassist of The Feeling.
Add her brand new album "HANA" to the mix, and you'll see that she is a hardworking creative of world-class stature. With a new tour in the works, she brings her musical work to concert halls.
