The Drenthe Painting Society

Drents Schildersgenootschap (DSG) is an association of artists from Drenthe, founded in 1954. It features a gallery in Assen where members exhibit their works, as well as hosting exhibitions by others. The DSG has 38 regular members and 4 members of DSG Jong, a group for recently graduated artists. The association offers a platform for visual artists to showcase a wide range of styles and media, with a particular emphasis on local art culture.
