For a unique Easter experience, head to the Historical Fire Brigade Museum in Hoogezand. On Sunday, April 21, 2025, they will host an Easter egg hunt among vintage fire trucks. In addition to egg hunting, children can enjoy jumping on a bouncy castle and take part in a fun Easter program. It’s the perfect mix of fun, history, and Easter joy!

2. Easter Egg Hunt at Museum Borg Verhildersum

On Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, children can try their luck at Museum Borg Verhildersum in Leens. Easter egg hunting has become a tradition for many families here. The children are divided into age groups and hunt for eggs in the beautiful castle garden. From the youngest children who have their own designated area in the inner garden, to the older children who search along the castle's outer ring.

The activity starts at 11:00 AM, and children can hunt for the hidden chocolate eggs between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The Easter Bunny will also hide large, brightly colored plastic eggs, each containing a hidden number. At 12:00 PM, prizes will be awarded to the lucky egg hunters!

3. Easter Egg Hunt with GPS at Ennemaborg Estate

Looking for an Easter egg hunt with a modern twist? Head to Ennemaborg Estate in Midwolda on Monday, April 21, 2025! The Easter Bunny has hidden eggs at this beautiful estate, but they are so well hidden that you will need a GPS device to find them. In small groups or families of 5 to 7 people, you will go on an adventure with a GPS device to search for the eggs. Each time you find an egg, you’ll get a code, and with all the codes, you’ll reach the final destination. It’s an exciting and adventurous way to hunt for Easter eggs!

4. Easter Puzzle Scavenger Hunt at Fraeylemaborg

On Sunday, April 20, 2025, children can participate in the Easter Puzzle Scavenger Hunt at Fraeylemaborg. Follow the yellow ribbons through the park behind the manor, where the Easter Bunny has hidden large eggs. Each egg contains a letter and a number. The children can write down their solution on a special form they can get at the coach house. They can then turn in their form at the Easter Bunny’s tent for a small surprise!

5. Easter Egg Hunt at Camping De Kleine Wereld

Camping De Kleine Wereld in Midwolda is also hosting a fun Easter egg hunt for families. On Sunday, April 21, 2025, children of all ages can take part in this cheerful activity. The Easter Bunny has hidden eggs all over the camping grounds, and it’s up to the children to find them. It’s a cozy activity for the whole family to enjoy, surrounded by nature.
